Job Benchmarking

Every job requires a certain set of traits and talents for superior performance while providing specific rewards other than just making a paycheck.

Our patented process uncovers the most important of the factors we measure for each particular job.

Our job benchmarking tools measure 55 different traits and talents for a job across four different areas: Behaviors, Driving Forces, Acumen, and Competencies.

Job Benchmarking is available as a “full-service” offering and a “slim” offering.

Option #1.  Full-service job benchmark

The full-service job benchmark is a live facilitated workshop with real human-to-human conversation about what traits and talents a particular job calls for.  The full-service job benchmark may also include a brief job shadowing.

After the workshop, the subject matter experts complete an on-line survey answering questions about the job.  The output created is an in-depth document with the job’s key accountabilities, risks, behaviors, driving forces, acumen indicators, and competencies along with job-specific behavioral-based EEOC and OFCCP compliant interview questions.

The full-service job benchmark option is best for new jobs, jobs that lack clarity around what success may look like, or jobs where there is disagreement around what the job is responsible for.

Option #2.  Slim job benchmark

The slim job benchmark creates a less in-depth document with the job’s top behaviors, driving forces, acumen indicators, and competencies along with job-specific behavioral-based EEOC and OFCCP compliant interview questions.

The slim job benchmark is completed “virtually”.  Each subject matter expert is asked to complete a brief set of excel sheet questions.  The total time invested for each subject matter expert is less than 30 minutes.

This option is best for jobs where there is clarity and the client knows exactly what they’re looking for, but would like to add more objective data to their process.
